今回のコーチ紹介は、
ジェームズ（James）先生
担当クラス：豊洲マジックビーチ校
Hi! I’m James from England. I like many sports but my favourite is soccer, or as we call it in England, ‘football’!
I have taught English for many years and so I look forward to improving both your soccer and English skills, whilst having lots of FUN!
こんにちは！イングランドから来ましたジェームズです。私はスポーツが大好きで、特にサッカーが好きです。私の国ではサッカーをフットボールと呼びます！そして私は長年英語の先生をしているので、たくさん楽しみながら皆さんの英語とサッカーの上達をお助けします！
The Global Athlete project is a fantastic and innovative scheme, one which I am proud to be a part of.
Education techniques are constantly evolving, and the need for children to enjoy their learning is vital. If they are happy and having fun then there is a greater chance they will absorb what is being taught. Soccer is also a great sport for teaching everyday life skills such as teamwork, discipline and gamesmanship, as well as keeping children active and healthy. There are so many benefits to participating with the global Athlete project.
グローバルアスリートプロジェクトは先進的で素晴らしいプロジェクトです。その一端を担う立場であることを誇りに思います。
教育のカタチも徐々に変化しており、楽しみながら学ぶことは子ども達にとって、とても重要です。子ども達は楽しく学ぶことで吸収が早くなります。サッカーはチームワークや、規律、駆け引きといった、日常的なスキルを身につけるのにはとっておきなスポーツで健康にも繋がります。グローバルアスリートプロジェクトに参加することで、多くのものを得られます。
Parents! Thank you for giving your children this great opportunity. If the kids don’t say it with words then hopefully their smiles say it all. And kids, keep trying hard every week and show your parents how much you learn from Global Athlete soccer school!
Maybe one day you can play for Japan…..just don’t score against England in any World Cups please!
Practice makes perfect, so give everything you have for our hour together! You can do it!
お父さん！お母さん！子どもたちにこのような素晴らしい機会を与えてくださって、ありがとうございます。子どもたちが英語を喋ることが出来なくても、子どもたちの笑顔が全てを物語ってくれます。子どもたちは毎週一生懸命に挑戦し、お父さん、お母さんにどのようなことを学んだのかを披露してくれます。
いつか日本のためにプレーすることが出来るかもしれませんね。イングランドとの試合ではどうか得点しないようにお願いします！
練習はうそをつきません。スクールではすべてを出し切ってください！あなたなら出来ます！

I have been in Japan for 2 and a half years teaching English ever since I got here.
I have been playing sports all of my life. I love being active and teaching.
こんにちは！私は日本に2年半住んでいて日本に来てからずっと英語を教えています。
スポーツは小さい頃からずっと続けていて、運動することや教えることが大好きです。
I think this project is a great idea. Learning English through sports, or an activity that you have fun with, is one of the best ways to learn.
このプロジェクトは素晴らしいアイデアと思います。スポーツや何か楽しいことを通して英語を学ぶというのは勉強法としてとても良い方法です。
If your child likes to play soccer, or just run around, and you want them to learn English this is a great place to come. English is an important skill to learn, and can help you a lot in life. Come out and check out the program! It’s a great time.
